Where have You been?

It’s that time of year just about everywhere around the globe right now – the kids are home from school, and parents are wondering how to survive until fall term begins again.  Vacations are in the air, and many of us are either planning for one, enjoying one or recovering from one.  Bottom line is – for many, not much gets done at this time of year.

So – is that why I’ve not done much with this blog in the last 2 months?  Heck no!!  It’s been quite a ride for us…

My last post was talking about just how far are you prepared to go to achieve your dreams – so let me tell you how far we’ve come in the last few months.  Just 3 months ago, we were living in the UK and I was working in a JOB.  Not a bad job, but a job nonetheless – which meant that I was selling my time to someone else, making not quite enough money to pay all the bills each month.  Something had to change.

So – we moved back to the US – the good old “land of opportunity”.  Our plan?  To land at Dallas airport and see what happened next.  No, seriously – that was pretty much our whole plan!  We did have a realtor set up to show us a house, but that was possibly the nastiest place you’ve ever seen, so we ended up slumming it in a Marriot hotel (OK – maybe not your idea of slumming it, but still!) while we worked out our next step.

More on those next steps later – but I just want to share with you that the end result of the last two months has been incredible.  We have literally gone from being down to our last $2 to now being in an opportunity worth over $100K per month.  Sounds like every other success story out there, right?  Well – check back and see what you think…
